Can you book ????????
I've been a few times now and the service is always impressive. They work very hard and are efficient and helpful. The mushrooms with egg yolk was our favorite. Also the carrot cake is great!
MoreDespite being very touristic and always busy, this place has incredible and very fresh food and amazing service. Every time I can, I go there. Thank you! 😊
MoreBest tapas I’ve ever had. Price was reasonable aswell! If you’re in Barcelona, it’s definitely worth going!
MoreYes it is a touristic place, yes prices are a little bit over the spanish average but the taste of that small tapas creatures with a speedy service ? Per fec to.
MoreNice bar with a good interior and warm and family atmosphere. The meal was good but it didn't surprised us with something very special in comparison with other tapas bars we have visited those days. But can't give 5 stars also because I felt like staff don't care about people and didn't positive to people as much as in other places .May be because bar is crowded very often
MoreThis is no doubt one of the better tapa places BCN has to offer. Do expect waiting times on the busiest hours. Also, do everyone else a favor: consume, pay your bill and leave to make room for a next table. Service is rapid otherwise.
MoreEasy to enjoy as a solo guest. I sat at the long bar and met two other solo people and also enjoyed the chef. Easy to try new things. Nice diversity..
MoreThis restaurant always comes up if you search tapas bar on all the search engines so I’m sure this place must be good.It happened that it was just down the block from our hotel so of course we had to try it once we arrived Barcelona. There's always a line. We came at 7pm and luckily there were 2 spots at the bat that we could took immediately. Food was really fresh and they got lots of options. I wouldn't say the food was cheap but definitely worth what you paid for.I have been recommending it to my family and friends who visited and they were all impressed with the food there.
MoreAmazing experience I had here! The restaurant is always pretty crowded so advise to be there early. The tapas are amazing! I tried the lobster rice, one dish with eggs I don't remember the name. Everything was perfect. Have in mind most of the dishes are doses for two people. And finally I tried the mini burger which was extremely good. That little thing with such a tremendous flavor. Really impressed with the service and the quality here.Totally recommended!
MoreThis experience did not disappoint. We went on our first night in Barcelona and decided to come back on our final night. If you're able to get seats at the bar, do! The interaction with the bartenders/servers behind the bar can be a lot of fun. They recommended wines and dishes for us. We followed a lot of their recommendations and we were so glad we did! The honey cod is not to be missed. Also, the bread pudding for dessert was one of the best things i ate in months!
MoreThey told us it would take 30 minutes to get a table but it ended up taking around an hour. We weren’t happy about that at all but once we got to order, the food was incredible. All the food was great. The only thing we wouldn’t order again is the sangria which was almost 20 euros for a pitcher. Definitely recommend coming here. It’s worth it.
MoreVery disappointing food, over priced and poor service.. on a busy road.,, much better option close by
MoreI mean it was touristy there’s no way around that, besides being stuck around people with suitcases the service and food was good. We came Saturday around 830 and there was about a 30-40 min wait. Once they get you seated it moves fast, they get your food out in a snap. Razor clams and clams were solid, churros and chocolate also came out piping hot and delicious. This was the only restaurant I went to in the area but it def looked more legit than the other options in the area.
MoreWhat can I say, yes, 2 stars at best. This place is very popular and very busy but is it the authentic Spanish tapas experience? I think not. Perhaps go here if you have a large group or you are on a bus tour. The atmosphere is loud, brightly lit and like that of a cafeteria (maybe a wee bit nicer). The quality of the food is fair but the staff are determined to get people in and out as quickly as they can. Prices are high. Credit to the staff who are working very hard.
MoreI visit this place time to time almost 13 years already, It use to be a good place.. but it is not anymore - quality of the food has dropped a lot. I am not coming back
MoreWe day at the bar and attest to the freshness of the food. Very delicious and prompt service as well.I started with the bacon and cheese sandwich. It was nicely toasted with just the right crunch. The cheese was melted enough to release the flavour without being messy. The bacon was at the perfect place between undercooked and greasy and undercooked and crumbly.I followed with a mushroom, squid and ham dish. Delicious with a little bit of asparagus. They were busy but seated at the bar, so if you're a couple or going their by yourself consider that. You'll be treated well.
MoreBusy as heck. Amazing service and food. I was expecting less cause they were so so busy and thought less love was going to be in the food but glad it was still amazing.
MoreOur hotel in Barcelona was right beside this restaurant. The first night of the trip, walking back to the hotel we saw that they still has a line up at 12:30 am. We checked it out online and the reviews were awesome so we decided to check it out. We went for an early dinner (6 pm) and there was no line up but prepare to wait if you go later in the day. The service was good, most servers spoke English. We asked for recommendations and they didn't disappoint. Their cod with honey was the best seafood dish I have ever had, it was so good. Everything was delicious. We tried 6 of their tapas dishes, half bottle of wine and dessert and we were really full by the end. Everything was great and it came to 66 euros. Well worth the food we had.
MoreVery clean cozy place. Fast and good services. The only place I have been that everyone greeting you when you step in the restaurant. The foods are great and good quality. It's soKso worth to pay for it. really worth it.. the services are really fast and great. It's a plus!!!!! You still could smile with your eyes
MoreWe came on a Sunday around noon and got a seat right away. The food was tasty and the food came very quick. However, for two people we had 5 tapas dishes and two desserts and neither of us left super full for the price that we paid (~55 euro). Overall would recommend to friends but with the caveat of the price point!
MoreAmong the best tapas in Barcelona. Definitely an in spot. Come early. Before 8pm if you don't want a significant wait.
MoreThis restaurant is one of the finest in Barcelona. The tenderloin and foie was so divine that I am convinced their is no equal anywhere else in the world. I ate six tapas and two desserts, and every dish was truly spectacular. How rare is that??I will admit that the overhead lights are too bright for an evening meal. I could hear other patrons talking about it in jest, but it's the only wrinkle in an otherwise superb experience.
MoreIf you have to wait for the table - do wait. The tapas here are extraordinary! I recommend this place to everyone who wants to experience truly Spanish cuisine :)
MoreAmazing food. Good prices. Amazing sangria. Nice staff. Amazing deserts too! Paris has nothing on this place.
MoreVery friendly and attentive servers and staff. Go in between peak times to avoid waiting. Went around 17:00 and got seated immediately at the bar. Awesome vibe and great food. Will return!
MoreWaited almost an hour for a table but it was well worth the wait. Staff is friendly and service is efficient. Food was very good. Lobster rice was my favorite and we had several of the tapas.
MoreThe reception, waitress and waiter are all very friendly, although this is a very busy restaurant that we had to wait for a hour in the afternoon(3PM)They have a variety of tapas to choose from . We ordered octopus, shrimp, and clams etc. It’s all very well cooked and fresh. The paella is flavorful. Highly recommend, will come back again.
MoreFantastic place for traditional tapas. Be ready to wait in line though, it can and will get crowded. Be patient since it's well worth the wait
MoreI got a recommendation from a friend and it was a great choice. I enjoyed the tapas experience eating at the bar. Food was good with a special mention to huevos cabreaos, that was a fortunate surprise. I asked it because I have seen pictures and I don’t regret at all. Fair price. Waiting list is a bit messy and finding a seat at the bar can be a bit strange for a first time visitor.
MoreIt’s a really famous place for the “tapas and pintxos” scene in Barcelona. We waited for one hour to get a table on a Friday night. We were 6 and we ordered a few dishes from the menu to share with each other: the quality is amazing and it’s very quick to serve once you choose. We had our time but the employees we so busy that we felt pressured to leave... generally it was a good experience, besides one or another thing. Other thing to point: there was one friend sick so she asked for soup or something without oil - unfortunately there’s was no option.
MoreWas recommended to us from others and became our favorite tapas place in Barcelona. Wide selection of tapas where some of the menu changes daily. Everything is fresh, expertly prepared and fairly priced. The wait staff is excellent, friendly (esp. to those of us visiting) and had helpful suggestions. Dont be surprised or afraid of a line at lunch, it moves quickly and they will get you seated in short time.
Morevery tasty! for the same-priced tapas place, food are really good! all dishes are delicious!will come back again for quick meal!
MoreMy personal favorite spot for tapas in all off Barcelona. Every night there seems to be a wait for seating (which means you know this place is good). We put our name down and was told we'd have to wait 45 minutes. We went for a stroll and shopped nearby. Came back within 45 minutes and were immediately seated. My wife and I tried 6+ plates and I enjoyed every single one. One of the steak plates was cooked very rare but that was my only complaint. For such a high end looking establishment the price tag was very reasonable. This is a must stop in Barcelona.
MoreHugely popular tapas place with prices on a higher side. Good variety of tasty tapas. Go early. Definitely worth a visit. Cod with honey was my favorite dish.
MoreVery nice Tapas bar. creative, ambience, people. 4.5stars
Broad variety and solid quality. The styles of Tapas is something I haven't seen before, much more simple then other places I've been, but they execute well and it tastes great. Service was good and the staff were fluent in English and Spanish making life a lot easier.
MoreThe tapas was great. Extremely busy which was a sign for great food. I was impressed but wish there was more help with what tapas dishes compliment each other. Overall great experience 😁
MoreSuper friendly staff, super efficiency kitchen with extraordinary speed of serving. Also not to mention superb taste and beyond my expectations. It's one of my best stop at Barcelona regardless the price is so much affordable than those I visited. Its very crowded and booking in advance is recommended. Non peak hours still have long queue to wait. Everything just perfect for me.
MoreExcellent service and really good food. Highly recommend the baked Camembert cheese with almonds. They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait if you arrive at peak times.
MoreAbsolutely delicious! That sums up the entire experience. Arrived slightly before the peak rush so after a brief 10 minute wait we were seated. Trying to decide what to order... Now that was the difficult part. Ended up ordering the prawn and scallops, duck confit, and salmon. All were delicious and I could have eaten 10 orders of the salmon.
MoreReally long line. We waited an hour for a table inside. The food is fresh and delicious thought a bit salty for us. Desserts are great. We had bread pudding and churros, both delicious.
MorePopular place with a bunch of classics that people keep coming back for.Prices are reasonable. The specials are worth exploring.
MoreGreat food and great waiters. Definitely worth the money!
This place is simply amazing. The food came out so quickly, and they were prepared to perfection. All the tapas we tried had excellent flavor and cooked just right. The dessert was excellent. My favorite two were the ice cream sandwich (?) and the bread pudding. The others were really tasty as well, but I still think about those two more than a week later.
MoreProbably the best tapas in Barcelona. This is a 'must go to' restaurant if you are in the city. The prices are very reasonable and the menu is varied. The downside is it is ALWAYS very busy but you cannot book and there are lots of tables. Be prepared to wait and enjoy!
MoreAllow me to share my first experience with Tapas. Heard so much about this famous and world-renowned dish that I had to try it myself in Barcelona. It was an experience not to forget and something that I will be doing it again... hopefully very soon.
MoreThe food was absolutely delicious(!!) but the service was really very slow. The prices are higher than average for tapas. We went mid-Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was packed. We were lucky that they were able to quickly sit us (I suggest making reservations) but after that it was a struggle to get our waiters attention. The food was absolutely delicious, but there should be a better system for service.
MoreAmazing food, good value and service. The place is very busy but they have lots of tables. The bar area is free sitting if you don’t want to wait.
MoreNo need to write why this is one of the best bars in BCN, go and try it. You will not be disappointed! The best sardinia tapas ever, it was limited on daily tapas selection, but hopefully it will be on the menu in the future! Olives was very delicious as well, bit picante. Prepare, to leave some space in yout tummy for the sweets, because you will have your best 'three texture cake' and 'churros' :]
MoreFinally can enjoy the place without waiting and it being packed with tourists (Covid times). Good above average food averagely priced. Quick service. I would have rated higher probably if I could have ordered different food ( pregnancy...) thus perhaps they can improve healthier alternatives (e.g. vegan options etc )
